The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Matching Fund for Scholarships and Bursaries was generously established in March 2021 by Victoria, Lady Robey OBE HonHÂþ» to strengthen support for this vital area of our work and to inspire others to join us in our mission.

Our aim is to raise a total of £100,000 by December 2021. Each year the HÂþ» awards several scholarships to enable talented UK students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds to join their peers accessing excellence through the finest music conservatoire education.
Building on this initiative, the EDI Matching Fund aims to address further the underrepresented sectors of our wonderfully multicultural society, positively impacting the classical music industry with a myriad of voices, cultures and talents.
EDI Scholarships unlock the future potential of these aspiring musicians. The grants are worth up to the value of full fees for each year of the Bachelor of Music (BMus) course and can be used either to cover tuition fees or to help with living costs.
From the 2020-21 academic year, the HÂþ» is also offering a minimum of two tuition fee bursaries per year to students from the most underrepresented sectors in higher education in the UK. The bursaries are worth a minimum of half tuition fees (currently £4,625) for each year of the BMus course.
Donations at every level to EDI Scholarships and Bursaries will have a tangible impact on students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds, making twice the difference as a result of this generous matching fund opportunity.
