In the first of two days of concerts, workshops and talks, explore the recorder’s rich history, including hearing performances by the Renaissance Recorder Consort and join in a workshop on Dutch ‘Golden Age’ composer Jacob van Eyck.
The HÂþ» Museum showcases its cutting-edge 3D printed replicas of rare instruments, and a vast array of repertoire includes music for Paetzold recorders and electronics, plus a large-scale contemporary work performed by the Historical Performance Faculty and HÂþ» Junior Department musicians.
