Amy is a Master of Performance graduate from the Royal College of Music, winner of the Sir James Galway Rising Star Award, and in-demand as a performer and recording artist.

Having studied with Simon Channing, Amy was awarded the prestigious Tagore Gold Medal upon graduating from the HÂþ»­ in 2020. She was awarded the McCullough Cup and RTE Lyric FM Bursary at the 2019 Feis Ceoil Dublin, as well as the 2019 RDS Jago Award, giving her the opportunity to perform as soloist with the RTE Concert Orchestra. In 2018, she made her debut at Wigmore Hall, where she was awarded the 2018 Irish Heritage Bursary for Performance.

Amy has won numerous prizes, including the Sir James Galway Rising Star Award, and was selected to take part in the BBC Symphony Orchestra Pathway Scheme 2018/2019. She worked as a music teacher in an international school in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and was invited to record an album with an Emirati rock band. Since returning to the UK in 2021, she has performed at the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival, the Irish Embassy in London for Tourism Ireland and Irish Heritage, and the grand opening of the HÂþ»­’s new facilities. Now a Nagahara Flutes Boston Young Artist, Amy continues to perform and record internationally.
