Francoise-Green Piano Duo win ROSL Ensemble Prize

HÂþ» alumni the Françoise-Green Piano Duo have won the Ensemble Prize in the Royal Overseas League Music Competition.
The duo's win continues the HÂþ»’s success in this year’s competition, after HÂþ» violinist and HÂþ» baritone both won their respective category finals.
Antoine Françoise and Robin Green are former recipients of the HÂþ»’s Leverhulme Junior Fellowship in Chamber Music and resident pianists for the HÂþ»’s conducting programme. is a Professor of Piano (contemporary specialism) at the HÂþ».
For their winning performance on Tuesday 5 March the duo presented a variety of works by Kurtag, Schumann, Bach and Schubert, plus a piece by HÂþ» composition professor . The jury were unanimous in their decision to award them the first prize.
Also competing in the Ensemble Final of the prestigious competition were HÂþ» guitar duo .
The will perform in the grand final of the ROSL soloists competition at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on 3 June, whilst the jury deliberate their verdict.
